Catherine is a senior employment lawyer, accredited specialist in workplace relations, associate director and strategy advisor to fast growth businesses and clients of Law Squared.
Catherine is passionate about helping employers manage their workplace so that they can focus on business growth and profitability. As an employer advocate, she uses her specialist skills in workplace relations to provide strategic legal advice to CEOs and their executive team when it matters most during the employment life cycle: hiring, managing and firing.
Catherine was a finalist in the Ausmumpreneur Awards 2018 (in the category of innovative business) and Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards 2018 (in the category of thought leader). In 2019, Catherine was the winner of the Accredited Specialist Achievement Award at the Law Institute of Victoria Awards, and her team was shortlisted as finalists for the Australian Law Awards, in the category of Workplace Relations and Employment Team of the Year.
Catherine is also a Company Secretary and Board Member for Women with Disabilities Victoria, Advisory Board Member for Strategic Business Alliance and Council Member for Community Directors Council (as part of the Institute of Community Directors Australia).
As a mother to two boys, Catherine wrote and published a book on flexible work called ‘Let’s make it work, baby!’ and is committed to helping both employees and employers make flexible work, work! Catherine also co-founded an online beauty and lifestyle store, Natural Supply Co, and is passionate about supporting ethical businesses creating environmentally friendly and cruelty-free products.
