Law Squared Graduates rotate through each of our four legal practice groups over a 12 month period. Graduates also complete an initial onboarding with our Digital + Innovation team, bringing them up to speed with our leading edge Legal Operations and Tech so they are ready to hit the ground running.

Graduates will have immediate exposure to client matters and be involved in a range of client relationship building and partnership events.

Balancing work, study and life can be tricky so our graduates are offered additional study leave (up to 10 days) and can take advantage of our firm-wide flexible work model.

At Law Squared, we tailor your Learning + Development to support your specific career goals and aspirations. We believe in collaboration at all levels, so Graduates will work with People + Operations to set goals, identify commercial skills and technical legal training required.

In the first month, Graduates will undertake an initial rotation within the Digital + Innovation team to build their familiarity with Law Squared’s leading edge technology stack, ensuring they are equipped for the legal rotations ahead.

Outside formal training, Graduates will start building real world legal expertise by working directly on client matters from the get go, learning from experienced peers and building positive, productive relationships with clients.

Law Squared will:

• Offer full-time employment for12 month period at competitive graduate salary

• Cover the cost of your PLT and admission

• Provide up to 10 days paid leave (additional to annual leave entitlements) to attend and carry out assessments required to complete PLT

The Law Squared graduate program is open to all Graduates across Australia - noting Graduates will need to relocate to Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane to take up their Graduate position.

Candidates for the Law Squared graduate program will need to:

→ have completed their relevant law degree (either LLB or JD);

→ have not completed PLT previously,

→ have not been admitted to practice in Australia, or hold a practising certification prior to or during the graduate program; and

→ be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.

Unlike other law firms, we don’t want to see your academic transcript or cover letter. We know there’s more to you than your exam results.

Once applications open on Monday 2 September 2024 and you’ve readied your creative submission, there are just two simple steps to apply:
