Katie is an experienced senior commercial and corporate lawyer, and trusted advisor of fast growth businesses.
Before joining Law Squared, she was the Director of Legal and Senior Lawyer at LUNA, as well as Senior Lecturer of Law at Monash University.
Katie’s experience spans across the Australian and international commercial and innovation ecosystem, and has seen her work with high growth companies, investors and venture capital firms, to provide strategic solutions to complex problems.
As a commercial and corporate lawyer, Katie wears many different hats – helping to advise on a range of needs including equity raising, exits, corporate structuring, employee share schemes, intellectual property, employment, social enterprise and not-for-profit needs (and much more). Katie also has experience as a commercial litigation and transaction lawyer during her previous time at both Maddocks and Turkslegal.
Having worked across both advisor and client sides, Katie brings deep experience and execution capability, delivered through a pragmatic, commercial and client-focused lens.
Before practicing as a Lawyer, Katie worked in the environmental field (having obtained a bachelor's degree in environmental sciences) with the likes of the Climate Reality Project run by Former US Vice President, Al Gore, World Vision, Getup, and working with the UNFCCC.
